
Marcin Filipek
@Point_Of_YouBorn in 1982. Graduated from the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. In the advertising industry for 12 years.
In years 2007 – 2014 worked with Platige Image as Senior CG Supervisor and Art Director, and since 2010 also as a director. As a CG Supervisor and Art Director controlled creation of animation and effects for over two hundred commercials. Collaborated on the creation of the largest Marketing Campaigns in Poland and abroad including: TP Heart and Mind, Platform N, Cyfra + with Lemur, NC +, Orange District, PZU, Tiger, Warka, Duracell. He has directed videos for such clients as: Orange Heart and Mind, Laciate, Velvet, Alpen Gold, Platform N. He is the author of script, director and art director of film commissioned by United Nations “Hunger is a monster.” Film was nominated in the category KTR: Director. The premiere took place on October 16, 2013 in the World Day of Hunger. In 2010 was awarded the Gold Award for special effects in film “Orange GO – Minutes per minute” in the category Workshop – TV / Radio on Polish Advertising Competition KTR. In 2015 Marcin directed “Boiler Room & Ballantine’s – Stay True Poland” which explores the history of Poland’s electronic music scene, telling the untold story of a bold & experimental movement that developed behind the Iron Curtain. Film shows the scene’s local pioneers & the new generation who have brought Polish electronic music to an international stage. Film was awarded KTR 2015 in categories: cinematography and media brand content.
